Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned:  Per pale Gules and Or, on the first issuant from pale point a dragon's head, on the second a demi-fleur-de-lis issuant from pale point, counterchanged.  Attached below and to the sides of the shield a Red scroll inscribed "COURAGEOUS AND READY" in Gold letters.

Symbolism
Inasmuch as the organization is descended from both the 114th Field Artillery and the 117th Field Artillery, the honors and heraldry of both of these organizations are included in its present coat of arms, the design being a composite of both of the original arms, divided vertically and having the charges of both parent organizations issue from the dividing line.  The motto is also a composite of the mottoes of the parent regiments, ("Courage to the last" and "Ready at the guns.")

Background
The distinctive unit insignia was originally approved for the 137th Field Artillery Regiment on 23 September 1942.  It was redesignated for the 932d Field Artillery Battalion on 15 January 1951.  The insignia was rescinded/cancelled effective 8 July 1960.

The coat of arms was originally approved for the 137th Field Artillery Regiment on 12 September 1942.  It was redesignated for the 932d Field Artillery Battalion and amended to delete the Alabama crest on 15 January 1951.  The insignia was rescinded/cancelled effective 8 July 1960.
